About the Role
Hays Technology is supporting a leading, established business to recruit for a new permanent Senior IT Infrastructure Manager. The role offers a salary up to £85,000pa depending on experience (+ bonus & car allowance) and allows flexible hybrid working typically three days per week in office.
Your New Role
In this role, you will head up the infrastructure and operations function, managing and leading a team of 10 across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line. You'll report into the IT Director and work closely with wider senior stakeholders in the IT Directorate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership in the team and promote best practice and driving IT modernisation programmes.
- Help the team with what good looks like and develop solid foundations for a successful IT infrastructure function.
- Be involved in budget management, IT governance and development / career progression in the team.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have extensive IT infrastructure experience and have most recently managed an IT infrastructure / operations environment ideally in a medium to large organisation.
