About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Home Treatment Specialist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have experience of clinical practice within urgent care settings, preferably with a background in community-based services. They will work collaboratively with service users and their carers to develop personalized care plans.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the urgent care team, potentially covering shifts across a 24-hour period.
  • Contribute to the development of urgent care services, ensuring high-quality mental health care delivery.
  • FOLLOW SAFeGUARDING POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS FOR CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS, sharing relevant information with other agencies as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and activities directed by senior staff.
  • Collaborate effectively with Urgent Care and Trust colleagues.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 29 days after five years and 33 days after ten years.

Essential Requirements
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent professional body.
  • Experience in risk assessment and risk management.
Desirable Criteria
  • Background in mental health and home treatment services.
  • Awareness of community and inpatient care pathways.
