Learning Support Practitioner

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Behavioural Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with experience supporting students with additional behavioural needs in specialist settings.

- Provide individual and small group support to students, helping them manage behaviour and engage positively in learning
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement behaviour support plans and promote social, emotional, and academic development
- Foster positive relationships with students and work collaboratively with external agencies to provide consistent support
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a PRU, SEMH, or similar setting is highly desirable
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people is essential
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust and rapport with students are necessary
- Flexibility and adaptability are required to foster a safe and positive learning environment
Salary Details: The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 based on the location and job requirements. Please note that all applicants require appropriate qualifications and training.
