Program Development Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the efficient delivery of major projects, specifically those involving Extra High Voltage (EHV) distribution networks. This will be achieved through maintaining visibility of project programs, managing Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), and ensuring effective communication with clients, including ICPs, customers, developers, and network operators.
The role requires a high level of project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain accurate project information, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the delivery of EHV projects, including the development of project plans, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Collaborate with ICPs to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues.
- Maintain accurate project information on our project management tool, including project forecasts, program of works, and project briefs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the National Relay System for Waste and Construction (NRSWA).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in leading teams to construct, commission, energize, and operate electrical networks.
- Excellent understanding of project management and asset management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience working in the utilities industry, particularly in the areas of transmission and distribution.
