Senior C&I Designer Job Opportunity

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior C&I Designer to join our team on a minimum 12-month contract duration, based from our office at Stockton/Hull.

We offer a hybrid working structure with a minimum of 2 days in the office, with remote working possible but occasional travel to the office/client site when required.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum HNC in Instrument Engineering or related subject
  • Experience working on projects for the Energy, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, and Refining Sectors
  • Experience working within a project team as a Senior C&I designer and on C&I teams across a range of industry sectors
  • Self-motivated team player with minimal supervision
  • Experience developing Instrument Design deliverables as required on a project-by-project basis
  • Good understanding of applicable international codes and standards and their application
  • High level of competency with AutoCAD 2D and AVEVA PDMS E3D software
  • Experience managing, checking, and delivering various deliverables, including cable block diagrams, instrument schedules, and layout and routing drawings
  • Strong understanding of plant design and equipment layout and ability to coordinate with other discipline design groups
  • Liaising with other disciplines as required
  • Coordination and governance of Instrument workpacks for high-value engineering centre
