Metering Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Metering Engineer to join our team at Calisen Metering. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Our Metering Engineers are the face of our business, and we pride ourselves on having a team that sets the bar high when it comes to safety, quality, and customer service. You will be backed by a wider support team, including scheduling, commissioning, auditors, and management, to help you deliver smarter energy solutions.

We offer a highly competitive remuneration package, including a basic salary of £39,220-£42,400 (OTE £53,000), London Weighting of £2,000 per annum (if you live within the M25), and a range of benefits, including a van, tools, PPE, and fuel card.

As a Metering Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining smart meters, ensuring that our customers receive accurate and reliable energy readings. You will work closely with our customers to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain smart meters to ensure accurate and reliable energy readings
• Work closely with customers to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions
• Collaborate with our wider support team to deliver exceptional service and meet customer needs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our customers receive the best possible service

Requirements:

• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 or CESP1 qualification
• Met 1 qualification
• 3-phase qualification with 18 months experience and completed a 3-phase installation in the last 3 months
• A previous MOCOPA
• At least 6 months experience working as a dual fuel smart meter installer
• Full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Able to pass a DBS check
