About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team at Seed Recruitment Consultants Ltd. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and engagement of our residents through the planning and delivery of a range of activities and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a variety of activities and events to cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Work closely with the Care Manager and other team members to ensure a seamless delivery of care and activities.
  • Organize and coordinate in-house and external events, such as Christmas parties, Easter raffles, and Summer fairs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to access resources and opportunities for our residents.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of activity programs that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of adult education and training principles, with the ability to design and deliver engaging activities.
  • Basic IT skills, with the ability to use software applications and digital tools to support activity planning and delivery.
