Fund Taxation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Taxation Manager to join our Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all taxation activities relating to funds are accurately accounted for in line with the Net Asset Values (NAV).
You will collaborate with our wider SS&C network to enhance our current processes and bring your expertise to shape and define our tax offering service as we expand into the UK market.
Your Responsibilities- Conduct quarterly tax reviews to ensure accurate tax positions for funds.
- Prepare and submit relevant overseas tax forms to enable treaty tax rates to be applied.
- Assist in furnishing custodians, depositaries, and third parties with tax or legal documentation required for fund taxation.
- Manage relationships with fund tax agents and liaise with custodial overseas agents.
- Review and chase outstanding Withholding Tax (WHT) reclaims across all funds.
- Reconcile positions at XD's between fund records and custodial reports.
- Review daily acquisitions of fund holdings in offshore funds and ensure correct setup for tax purposes.
- Assist internal stakeholders with queries related to fund taxation, such as WHT queries and fund launches.
- Support with HMRC enquiries and liaise with HMRC as required.
- Qualifications in tax (ATT, CTA, qualified or part-qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in all aspects of taxation.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Data inputting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to deal with complex queries.
- Ability to prioritize and work to strict deadlines.
- High level of MS Office suite skills and online capability.
