Fire Protection Estimator

Phenomenal opportunity to join Vantage Consulting Ltd as a Fire Protection Estimator in their Global Marine and Navy Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft expert estimates for international marine clients.
  • Collaborate with sales team to manage enquiries, oversee ongoing projects, and track submitted quotations.
  • Communicate effectively with marine clients to address inquiries, provide quotations, and resolve technical queries.
  • Partner with project managers and engineers to facilitate smooth contract handovers and address any contract-related questions.
  • Prepare detailed inquiries and negotiate quotations with sub-suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Stay updated on marine regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in every project.
  • Attend clarification meetings in client offices across the UK and overseas as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with various fire protection systems.
  • Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing detailed estimates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with marine regulatory standards.
  • Skilled in interpreting high-level Invitation to Tender (ITT) packs, including contract deliverables and data requirements.
