Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Director to lead our construction arm and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial interior construction and will be responsible for managing multiple projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the growth of our construction arm and develop business strategies to achieve this goal
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including fit-out CAT A projects and small local projects
  • Oversee project and site management, including pre-construction, site logistics, and communication
  • Recruit and manage construction staff and contractors
  • Contribute to upcycling materials and logistics
  • Support project bids and manage pre-construction processes
  • Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and budget
  • Assess failures, identify reasons, design, and implement fixes
  • Refine and implement business growth plans

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of construction management experience in the UK: commercial interiors
  • Minimum 3 years of Design & Build interior construction experience in the UK
  • Computer literacy – Outlook, Word, Excel, Reporting, and emails
  • Experience in innovative thinking and problem-solving
  • Full construction management – start to finish examples
  • Evidence of successful initiatives implemented in construction
