Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Director to lead our construction arm and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial interior construction and will be responsible for managing multiple projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth of our construction arm and develop business strategies to achieve this goal
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including fit-out CAT A projects and small local projects
- Oversee project and site management, including pre-construction, site logistics, and communication
- Recruit and manage construction staff and contractors
- Contribute to upcycling materials and logistics
- Support project bids and manage pre-construction processes
- Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and budget
- Assess failures, identify reasons, design, and implement fixes
- Refine and implement business growth plans
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of construction management experience in the UK: commercial interiors
- Minimum 3 years of Design & Build interior construction experience in the UK
- Computer literacy – Outlook, Word, Excel, Reporting, and emails
- Experience in innovative thinking and problem-solving
- Full construction management – start to finish examples
- Evidence of successful initiatives implemented in construction
