Job Purpose

The Strategy Analyst provides critical support to Strategy Managers by delivering robust analytical insights.

This role involves thinking ahead and driving teams to achieve long-term financial health for the business and its shareholders.

The Strategy Analyst will help define the future direction of the Retail/Garages business.

  • Data gathering: sourcing information to answer critical strategic questions, both internally and externally.
  • Analysis: conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify opportunities for proposition development.
  • Interpreting data, spotting trends, and making recommendations to turn data into actionable insight.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to collect data and conduct analysis.
  • Communicating analysis findings and recommendations in verbal and written forms.
  • Creating insight-led propositions and brand strategies that step change the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Gathering: Define and source the right information to answer critical strategic questions.

Analysis: Conducting a range of quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify opportunities for proposition development.

Insight Generation: Interpreting data, spotting trends, and making recommendations to turn data into actionable insight.

Collaboration: Collaborating with colleagues to collect data and conduct analysis.

Communication: Communicating analysis findings and recommendations in verbal and written forms.

Strategy Development: Creating insight-led propositions and brand strategies that step change the customer experience.

Business Area: Halfords Support Centre.

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum.
