About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our financial accounts team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate and maintain a Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a period-by-period basis to support the year-end process and reconciliation.
  • Provide support to the budgeting and forecasting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Build relationships with the wider business to ensure effective management of capital assets.
  • Process and monitor additions and disposals accurately, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with UK Accounting Standards.
  • Proactively address ad hoc requests and provide analytical reports to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience in fixed asset management, including transactional and control processes.
  • Strong understanding of UK Accounting Standards and financial system management.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and positively in a fast-paced environment.
