We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physics Teacher to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in Margate. As a Physics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in one of the most fascinating subjects within the sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their potential.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and development of students.
- Support students in their academic journey, helping them to prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure the best learning outcomes.
- Participate in department meetings, extra-curricular activities, and school events.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Physics or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the KS3, KS4, and KS5 Physics curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
