We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Science Technician, supporting our biological and environmental facilities at Liverpool John Moores University.
As a technician, you will work in close partnership with senior colleagues, providing invaluable support to academic staff and other members of the technical team. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of teaching activities and research projects within the Faculty of Science.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support and guidance to academic staff and students
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Ensure a safe working environment for all staff and students
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
**Requirements**
- Strong background in science, specifically in biological and environmental sciences
