About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Dermatology Specialist to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will provide high-quality dermatological care to patients in Cornwall, progressing a sub-specialty interest to complement our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership in the management of dermatological patients, maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Share responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Dermatology Department, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Teach and train junior staff and medical students, promoting excellence in dermatological care and education.
  • Ensure active participation in continuing medical education (CME) and contribute to the development of clinical governance and audit initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Fulfill duties of the weekly timetable, including out-of-hours responsibilities, ensuring seamless patient care and service delivery.
