We are seeking a highly skilled Field Planning Specialist to join our Heavy Lift & Site Engineering team in Vestas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth project execution and safe vessel sailing, jacking, and lifting. Estimated salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year.

About the Team
The Heavy Lift & Site Engineering team in Vestas is responsible for the technical and marine operations of Offshore Installation Vessels and Service Jack-Up Vessels. Our team works closely with Sales, Construction, and Service teams to ensure alignment and coordination. We are looking for an experienced professional who can assist us in ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing seabed and site data, lifting plans, ghost positions, SSA/LPA, and coordinating with jack-up vessel owners and project teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of projection and ship navigation systems, as well as proficiency in marine surveys and data modeling of LIDAR and bathymetric datasets. Deep expertise in Offshore Wind Jack-Up Vessels, Marine Operations, and Heavy Lift and Transport is also required. Skilled in GIS, AutoCAD, and MS Office, with fluency in English, the successful candidate will support technical and marine operations across various functions to maintain safety and efficiency standards. Expected travel: approximately 30 days per year.
