Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Care Practitioner to join our theatre team at a leading private care facility in London. As a Surgical Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the theatre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Theatre Manager and working closely with colleagues
  • Utilising your strong knowledge and experience in operating theatres
  • Understanding the perioperative needs of patients
  • Supervising a multi-disciplinary team providing the highest standard of patient care across a varied caseload

Requirements

  • Qualification as a Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) experienced in Robotics (Da Vinci)
  • Registration as a healthcare professional (e.g. nurse or ODP)
  • Recent experience in theatre nursing
  • An aptitude for clinical and operative practice
  • The ability to effectively manage the clinical area on a day-to-day basis and plan ahead
