Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Manager

NHS Western Isles invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the role of diagnostic imaging specialist manager.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will oversee the operation of the MRI service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient service management.
This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including patients, staff, and external partners, to achieve service objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- MRI safety and quality management
- Administrative duties, such as personnel management and resource allocation
- Development and implementation of training programs for staff
- PgCert in MRI or equivalent qualification
- DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
- HCPC registration
- Proven experience in MRI and leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in remote and rural settings
£50,067 - £58,333 per annum, plus a £1,349 Distant Islands Allowance, 37 hours per week, permanent position. Relocation expenses will be covered, and a fixed-term or secondment option is available.
