Role Overview

Cambridge Credentials is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Associate Director in their Joint Ventures and Alliances team. As a key member of the Deal Execution practice, you will be responsible for leading complex joint venture engagements and driving business development in key accounts.

The Joint Ventures and Alliances team is a critical component of the broader Deal Execution team, which is part of the rapidly expanding Strategy Group. This group delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights, and executing with investor-grade rigor.

The JV and Alliances team comprises specialists from all required disciplines to set up, operate, or exit partnerships, helping clients from ideation to execution of their most innovative and significant partnerships. As an Associate Director, you will be part of the core JV team, leading engagements from start to finish and driving business development in key accounts.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key competencies:

  • Ability to lead complex JV engagements
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams comprised of Legal, Tax, Valuation, Deal Execution, etc. experts
  • Proactively drive business development in regard to key accounts
  • Undertake scoping and budgeting of the engagements
  • Support the development of JV-related thought leadership
  • Understand risk and ensure that the Firm's risk management frameworks are adhered to at all times
  • Inspire, motivate, coach, and develop project team members and appraisees, and give constructive 360-degree feedback
