Hygiene Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our team at Everest People Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our food processing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the effective cleaning and sanitation of the facility to meet or exceed industry standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with Food Standards legislation and COSHH guidelines.
- Manage and train a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Technical and Maintenance teams to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cleaning operations.
- Proven experience in a Hygiene Manager or similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.
- Strong understanding of Food Safety Standards, including BRC, HACCP, and COSHH.
- Knowledge of cleaning processes, chemicals, and equipment used in a food production setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage a team effectively.
- Experience in implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong decision-making skills with a focus on maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
