We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in General Adult Community Psychiatry to join our team at Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work in our General Adult Community Services team. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with mental health conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to the General Adult Community Services team
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines
- Participate in research and audit projects to improve patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
- Experience of working in General Adult Community Psychiatry
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
