We are seeking a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor based in the North West region. Our client operates in the new build and refurbishment sector, working across multiple sectors such as education, public and leisure buildings, blue light, healthcare, and maintenance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pre-university individual to study on a professional RICS degree apprenticeship development programme while gaining valuable work-based industry experience.

Trainee Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
  • Collaborate with the surveying and estimating teams to prepare tenders for subcontractors, ensuring timely submission.
  • Support the smooth administration of a dynamic estimating team and provide assistance to team members.
  • Coordinate with estimating team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to help prepare tender bids.
  • Manage the receipt and organisation of drawings and plans, including maintaining drawing registers.
  • Conduct site visits as required.
  • Handle electronic tender and contract documents, as well as other digital communications, throughout the tender and bid process.
  • Assist and coordinate with other company employees and management as needed.

Trainee Quantity Surveyor Salary & Benefits
  • Salary dependent on experience, with the typical industry range for this position being £22k - £32k
