Counterbalance Specialist

Eastmidlandsrecruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Forklift Truck Driver to join our team in Ilkeston. This is an on-going temporary position with the potential to become permanent.

The successful candidate will possess a valid Fork Lift Truck Licence (counterbalance) and experience working in a busy warehouse environment. A double handler attachment would be beneficial but not essential.

This role involves operating a Fork Lift Truck to load and unload vehicles, as well as performing manual labour tasks when required. The candidate will work on a rotational basis, including days and afternoons, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading vehicles using a Fork Lift Truck
• Manual labour tasks as required
• Working on a rotational basis, including days and afternoons

Requirements:

• An enthusiastic attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to work overtime at short notice and occasional Saturdays
• Familiarity with written documentation and good numeracy skills
• At least two years of experience working in a similar environment

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive pay rate of £13.15 per hour, plus a weekly attendance bonus and overtime. Further training opportunities are also available.

Estimated Salary: Based on 37 hours per week, the estimated annual salary for this position would be approximately £27,650.40.
