Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Equans is a leading provider of energy services with a global presence. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital in Edmonton.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance staff, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a recognized trade qualification (e.g. electrical, mechanical, or fabric trade) and have significant experience in a building services environment.
  • Proven supervisory experience with a focus on maintenance and facilities management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
