Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance datasets and processes for accurate and timely ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) of spatial data. Collaborate with research teams to identify data needs, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Establish and maintain robust data quality checks and validation protocols. Design and streamline ETL workflows for spatial data to improve data accessibility and reliability. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in spatial data management, power systems, and analytics to drive innovation.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, GIS, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in data management and analysis, with a focus on spatial data. Strong background in Electrical Power Transmission, Distribution, or related domains. A proven track record of building and maintaining ETL workflows with tools such as FME. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and spatial databases (i.e., PostGIS). Experience in publishing and maintaining web services using the ESRI Suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online etc.). Familiarity with power systems analysis, i.e., load flow analysis, grid stability, and renewable energy integration. Knowledge and/or experience with the ESRI Utility Network Model. The estimated salary for this position is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements, training plans, and a city centre location in Sheffield.
