About the Role

Senior Associate - Insurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our dynamic team at Horwich Farrelly. As a leading provider of legal and handling services to the general insurance sector, we offer a unique opportunity for career progression and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a caseload of predominantly litigated defender files within our case management system, ranging from counter-fraud files to EL and PL claims, including complex, high-value catastrophic injury files.
  • Assist with property damage and sensitive claims, reporting directly to clients on all aspects of the litigation, including reserving strategy and tactics.
  • Carry out advocacy at procedural hearings, debates, and proofs, and instruct Counsel in complex claims.

Requirements:

  • A knowledge or experience of Personal Injury Claims; preferably Defender and/or previous experience working within the insurance sector.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving.
