We are Northern Powergrid, a leading player in shaping the electricity distribution network of the future. We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to join our People & Change Directorate during an exciting period of growth.

This role will be pivotal in managing increasing levels and complexities of change across the business. As a key member of our team, you'll partner with business leads to deliver strategic change initiatives and enable a culture of continuous improvement.

The initial assignment will involve supporting the implementation of a critical upgrade to our asset delivery system, part of a multimillion-pound technology investment programme designed to enhance data and digital capabilities.

You will work across the entire change lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders from various teams to successfully deliver new ways of working. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategies, plans, and deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers using structured change management methodologies.
  • Leading the creation and execution of change tools, such as Impact Assessments, Stakeholder Analyses, Business Readiness Plans, and Adoption Tracking.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to act as a trusted business partner and provide expert guidance on change management activities.
  • Developing tailored training materials to support the adoption of new systems and processes for different audiences.
  • Identifying risks and resistance to change and developing actionable mitigation plans.
  • Producing management reports to highlight progress, risks, and key outcomes.
