Job Title: Plumbing Specialist

Reed Property & Construction is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing and be able to maintain the high standards of our properties.

About the Role:

The Plumbing Specialist will be responsible for completing plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks within properties as part of the Maintenance Team. This includes conducting repairs to domestic plumbing installations, installing replacement sanitary ware, baths, shower trays, level decks, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete maintenance tasks within properties as part of the Maintenance Team.
  • Conduct repairs to domestic plumbing installations.
  • Install replacement sanitary ware, baths, shower trays, level decks, and associated equipment.
  • Fit kitchen sinks and new pipework including copper, speed fit, waste, and rainwater systems.
  • Install new sundry items such as taps and ball valves and conduct repairs on them.
  • Manage installations and repairs of water mains supplies, heating system pipework, and drainage stop taps.
  • Install and fix domestic appliances like showers and washing machines.
  • Handle vented and unvented cylinder heads and maintain cold water storage tanks.
  • Occasionally perform basic carpentry, plastering, tiling, decorating, and other general maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing, or at least 5 years of experience in this core trade.
  • Experience working in occupied premises with excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of best practices.
  • Proficiency in using mobile technology such as iPads or PDAs.
  • Current CSCS card is desirable.
  • Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
  • Ability to manage a company van for business use.
