We are seeking a highly skilled Ergonomic Specialist to join our team at Nationalbackexchange. As an Ergonomic Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based moving and handling training and education to employees.
- Conduct individualized employee assessments on ergonomics and manual handling, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Perform individualized risk assessments for patients with complex moving and handling needs.
- Implement appropriate and evidence-based equipment provision to reduce the risk of harm to patients, their carers, and staff.
- Assist with risk management, including incident management support and policy development.
- Promote health and wellbeing for trust employees.
- Deputize for the Senior Ergonomic Advisor in matters relating to the ergonomics team.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of ergonomics and manual handling principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
