Senior UX Designer Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior UX Designer to join our Digital Customer Team at Abcam. As a leader in the scientific community, we provide innovative tools that enable breakthroughs in critical areas.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that balance user needs with business goals and technical capabilities. You'll be responsible for designing and simplifying complex user journeys/flows, utilising and translating customer research and feedback, and collaborating on sprint planning with cross-functional teams.

This role offers the opportunity to work on big ideas and day-to-day delivery, contributing to the product direction and producing designs that meet the needs of our users. You'll also have the chance to experiment, research, and refine deliveries with engineers.

We're looking for a proactive individual who can hit the ground running, with a combination of agency and client-side experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to convey design ideas and requirements effectively, and experience working with Figma, Zeplin, design systems, Sketch, or similar tools.
