At CMC Markets, we're seeking a skilled Pricing and Risk Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Pricing and Risk team, you'll work on our low latency, high-frequency trading platform, utilizing cutting-edge Java programming techniques.

You'll apply your in-depth knowledge of the Java programming language to implement world-class trading and pricing systems, collaborating with financial engineering, quant teams, and other key business groups to ensure seamless product delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Level Java Development: Implement trading and pricing systems using Java 8-21.
  • Collaborative Development: Design and develop innovative pricing and risk components for market-making operations, impacting various asset classes.
  • Cross-Functional: Partner with stakeholders to ensure product delivery and support.
  • Hands-On Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Front Office users and Business Operations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest training in regulatory and legislative areas.
  • Impactful Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior developers.

Requirements:

  • 2:1 or above degree in a related field.
  • Java development experience in financial systems, ideally in pricing or risk-related applications.
