Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at 4way Recruitment. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and commissioning fire alarm systems, as well as fault finding and maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Install and service fire alarm systems to the highest standards
* Commission fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
* Conduct fault finding and maintenance on fire alarm systems
* Work with our team to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
* Travel nationwide to complete installations and services
* Mentor junior engineers to help them develop their skills

**Requirements**

* 3+ years of experience working with fire and security systems
* 18th or 17th edition certification is advantageous
* Knowledge of British Standards and Health and Safety
* Full UK driving license
* CSCS or ECS card desirable but not essential
* Manufacturer training desirable but not essential
* Ability to pass security screening

**What We Offer**

* Up to £39,500 basic salary
* Overtime available
* No call out
* Bonus scheme
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays
* Travel paid after 30 minutes each way at the beginning and end of the day
* Overtime paid at time and a half
