About the Role

This Class 2 Driver position involves operating and driving HGV vehicles safely and efficiently for the delivery of goods. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly, adhere to traffic laws and regulations, communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, and report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid UK Category C Licence
  • At least 12 months of experience driving Category C vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • A valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
  • Punctuality and excellent timekeeping skills
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
  • A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills
