About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in Carmarthen Tesco Extra. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment, and contributing to the success of our toy retail business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and handling deliveries, replenishing stock and managing prices
  • Conducting start-of-shift bay checks to ensure pricing, stock levels, and overall store standards are met
  • Replenishing sections, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring good organization
  • Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and management
  • Engaging with customers, providing product knowledge, and encouraging sales
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 7pm
  • Availability for 12 hours per week, with varying shift patterns and days
  • Reliability, dependability, and ability to work independently
  • Practicality, flexibility, and ability to think on your feet
  • Enthusiasm, self-assurance, and ability to communicate effectively
  • Technical savvy and responsibility, with ability to use company property and communicate with management
  • Open and honest communication, with ability to report issues promptly
  • Confidence and decisiveness, with ability to communicate clearly and respond positively to changes
  • Passion and knowledge of toys and products
