About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our fast-paced development team at Snappy Shopper. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in the development of our apps, website, and other technical components.

As a Senior PHP Developer, you'll be responsible for extending our APIs for our App Development team, developing new features and APIs in Laravel, working on unit tests, and maintaining our legacy code base. You'll also integrate our platform with third parties, perform code reviews, and support less experienced developers.

Our ideal candidate will have considerable experience coding with PHP, demonstrable knowledge of Laravel, Symfony frameworks, or similar, and experience with MySQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS languages, as well as GIT version control. You'll also have unit testing experience, ideally within a TDD environment, and be able to write and interpret REST APIs.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about community, willing to challenge others to create best practice, and able to thrive in a remote working environment. If you're a team player who is always learning and looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
