Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cutting-edge designs for complex hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring all technical and quality standards are met.">
  • Conduct detailed technical investigations, evaluate options, perform supporting calculations, and prepare comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.">
  • Create technical drawings, general assembly diagrams, and bills of materials to support the engineering process.">
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices.">
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where they can thrive and grow.">
  • Analyse and communicate project risks and technical challenges, providing clear feedback to the Program Team.">
  • Support patent writing and ensure the overall system design complies with intrinsic safety and regulatory standards.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.">
  • Advanced mechanical engineering skills, with a solid foundation in theoretical and analytical design principles.">
  • Experience leading engineering development tasks and influencing the work of other engineers.">
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidEdge experience is a plus, but not required).">
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical details to non-technical audiences.">
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with multidisciplinary teams.">
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.">
  • Must have excellent time management and organisational skills.">
