Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The Orion Electrotech team is seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our global logistics provider. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve problems and improve plant reliability
  • Work in a cold environment (all necessary PPE will be provided) and at heights, as required
  • Drive and travel to site as needed
Requirements:
  • Electrically qualified NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with mechanical experience
  • Experience working with automation and PLCs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to learn and improve your skillset
  • Ability to work a continental shift pattern of 2 days followed by 2 nights on a 4 on 4 off rotation
