About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Accountant to join our team at Workman LLP. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all reporting and recording of accounting transactions for diverse property portfolios.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues, and have a proactive approach to work. You will work closely with the accounts team and property managers to provide a best-in-class service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly client reports, including VAT and IPD reporting
  2. Ensure all client KPIs have been met, and client/company procedures are followed
  3. Reviewing Assistant Client Accountant and Accounts Administrator work
  4. Training of Assistant Client Accountants and Accounts Administrators
  5. Cash management of client funds ensuring money is transferred in line with client requirements
  6. Management of lease information
  7. Client and Tenant query resolution
  8. Any other duties that will ensure the smooth running of the accounting department
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A proactive, practical, and positive approach to work
  2. Excellent and professional communication skills
  3. Studying ACCA, or being AAT qualified is preferred
  4. Maths & English G.E 9-4/A-C
  5. Strong Numeracy & Problem Solving Skills
  6. IT & Software Skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
