Mines Rescue Captain Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mines Rescue Captain to join our team at Triton Risk Management. As a Mines Rescue Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' buildings and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of our clients' buildings and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence with client requirements.
  • Providing a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at the premises of our clients.
  • Providing conflict resolution at client premises where there is potential for conflict.
  • Greeting, assisting and directing members of the public, contractors and staff visiting the premises of our client.
  • Engaging in daily dialogue and site tours to maintain an up to date understanding of the project.
  • Maintaining a strict level of health and fitness appropriate to the role.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience of working as a Security Officer in the Security Industry.
  • A valid SIA Licence or current certificate of completion of SIA training.
  • Presentable with excellent communication and literacy skills.
  • Someone who aspires to be the best they can in their area of expertise.
  • Someone who has advanced IT skills and be able to learn and operate our training and competence systems.
  • Someone who is able to work on their own initiative, while being part of a wider team.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong planning skills.
  • Someone who has creative vision and an ability to develop flexible solutions.
