Make a Difference in the Community
St John Ambulance's East Midlands region is seeking an experienced Community and Volunteer Development Officer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and implement a compelling community education program, empowering young people and building awareness of first aid skills.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, plus benefits such as 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) and hybrid flexible working. You will work closely with senior regional volunteers and stakeholders to ensure St John Ambulance has an impact in the communities that need it most through practices funded by our principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with experience in developing and delivering programs that engage local communities. They will also be passionate about volunteering and community development, with a strong understanding of the importance of first aid skills for individuals and communities.
