The Role

This 12-month maternity cover position is an excellent opportunity to join our divisional Marketing team as a Content Writer. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for creating engaging content across five connected products:

  • Consultancy, Meridian, and Prosure360 at William Martin
  • CAFM+ Service Desk and Facilities Services at Elogs

As a skilled writer and organised content strategist, you will drive our content strategy, brainstorm innovative ideas, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve sales and marketing goals.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage our quarterly content calendar, serving as your guide for all content-related activities.
  2. Collaborate with Brand Managers to plan content for Campaign Steering Groups, ensuring week-by-week objectives are met.
  3. Proofread and edit documents to ensure quality and accuracy.
  4. Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to create compelling content aligned with target personas.
  5. Ensure all content and copy across the business reflects our brand voice and messaging.
  6. Coordinate with our PR agency to generate content ideas for William Martin and align content plans with press activities.
  7. Partner with product leads to ensure each product receives suitable attention corresponding to growth expectations.
  8. Work with our Graphic Designer to create visually appealing content.
  9. Optimise blogs and content pieces using SEMrush tools to enhance SEO performance.
  10. Write engaging content for email campaigns that increase audience engagement.
  11. Pitch ideas to multiple stakeholders and product owners to secure their buy-in.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and suggest innovative content ideas.
  13. Support the Head of Marketing on discrete projects as required.
About You

We're looking for a degree-qualified individual with experience in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field. Your strong writing and editing skills should be accompanied by excellent organisational and project management abilities.

You will have a proven track record of managing time effectively, working under tight deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities. Great people skills and emotional intelligence are essential for building strong internal relationships and understanding our target audience.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
