About Our School

Brewood School is a co-educational, independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for secondary-aged boys and girls. Our school is based in Kent and meets the needs of a diverse group of pupils with special educational needs, including speech, language and communication difficulties, autism, ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

About the Role

We are seeking an outstanding PSHE teacher to join our existing team and deliver education to children with SEN and SEMH. The successful candidate will have the energy, passion and drive to raise standards and 'bring about the best' for all members of our community. They will plan exciting and engaging lessons, considering all learning styles, and be aware of Ofsted requirements. The ideal candidate will take initiative, think outside the box and promote good behaviour and the desire to learn. They will also have experience of working with students with challenging behaviour/SEMH and delivering subject specialism to GCSE level.
