Job Description
Our team provides support to individuals living with dementia and their families. As a Dementia Adviser, you will play a vital role in improving their quality of life.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional support and practical advice to people diagnosed with dementia and their carers
- Identifying individual needs and connecting them with relevant services
- Maintaining accurate records on our database information system
- Engaging with clients in their own homes, promoting our service and building professional relationships
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong empathy and compassion for individuals affected by dementia
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing situations
- Good IT skills and experience with data systems
