Job Description

Our team provides support to individuals living with dementia and their families. As a Dementia Adviser, you will play a vital role in improving their quality of life.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional support and practical advice to people diagnosed with dementia and their carers
  • Identifying individual needs and connecting them with relevant services
  • Maintaining accurate records on our database information system
  • Engaging with clients in their own homes, promoting our service and building professional relationships

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong empathy and compassion for individuals affected by dementia
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing situations
  • Good IT skills and experience with data systems

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
