In the Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre at Jaguar Land Rover, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of electric propulsion systems. As a key member of the team, you'll be part of a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to producing cutting-edge electric propulsion systems that will power the future of Jaguar Land Rover's vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the introduction and maintenance of production line equipment to ensure uptime targets are met.
  • Lead and manage a team focused on achieving a zero-breakdown goal, working closely with manufacturing, quality engineering, and machine tool vendors.
  • Analyse performance and implement preventative measures to ensure the Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre runs smoothly.
  • Drive continuous improvement, leading Kaizen and CI activities, and developing a robust maintenance strategy in line with Jaguar Land Rover's vision.

Requirements

  • Strong supervisory or project management skills.
  • Familiarity with leadership behaviours, with the ability to demonstrate these strengths.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in engine component machining, assembly, and testing.
  • Skilled in using preventive maintenance system data, such as SAP PM or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in asset management tools and techniques, with the capability to train team members across all levels.
  • Qualified, or actively working towards, an NVQ Level 3 (or higher HNC/HND) in a relevant field.
