Job Description: Sanctuary and Bell Choir Conductor

The St. John United Church of Christ, Manchester, is seeking a highly skilled conductor to lead its sanctuary and bell choirs. As the conductor, you will oversee the recruitment and coordination of accompanists and groups for special occasions. You will also be responsible for selecting anthems for both choirs and leading Wednesday night rehearsals and Sunday morning anthems.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position requiring a strong musical background and leadership skills.
  • You will work closely with the senior pastor to coordinate hymns and music in worship.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for music programming in the church.
  • Maintain high standards of musicianship and performance excellence.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
