Job Title: Precast Estimator

Location: Derbyshire

Salary: DOE

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing construction drawings, bills of quantities, and other project documentation to estimate costs. This will involve researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best prices from suppliers. The Precast Estimator will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest construction guidelines and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs based on construction drawings and project documentation.
  • Research and source suppliers to obtain the best prices.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Stay aware of the latest construction guidelines and requirements.
  • Input on decisions regarding whether to bid on projects.
  • Work closely with key members of the team.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
