Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our facility in Wrexham. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for executing mechanical activities on-site, completing planned maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute mechanical activities on-site as directed by the engineering manager.
  2. Complete all planned maintenance tasks, changeovers, and other additional work as required.
  3. Diagnose breakdown faults - mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and liaise with other departments as required.
  5. Report resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework, or deferred maintenance as required.
  6. Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct basic root cause analysis and development of solutions.
Requirements
  1. Apprentice trained to ONC / HNC / C&G Level 3.
  2. Read and produce mechanical drawings.
  3. Experience in carrying out PPM on mechanical equipment.
  4. Electrical and mechanical ability essential.
