Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our facility in Wrexham. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for executing mechanical activities on-site, completing planned maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Execute mechanical activities on-site as directed by the engineering manager.
- Complete all planned maintenance tasks, changeovers, and other additional work as required.
- Diagnose breakdown faults - mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and liaise with other departments as required.
- Report resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework, or deferred maintenance as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct basic root cause analysis and development of solutions.
- Apprentice trained to ONC / HNC / C&G Level 3.
- Read and produce mechanical drawings.
- Experience in carrying out PPM on mechanical equipment.
- Electrical and mechanical ability essential.
