IT Project Manager Lead

We are looking for an experienced IT project manager to lead and manage the delivery of key IT projects. Based in Manchester, this role offers a competitive salary of £52k + Excellent Benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project teams, managing risks, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to ensure timely and successful delivery of IT solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a fast-paced environment, focusing on delivering innovative solutions aligned with organisational goals.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT project management, demonstrating leadership skills and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee IT projects to ensure objectives are met, completed on time, and within budget.
- Supervise project teams, including external contractors and senior suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
- Proactively manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to avoid potential issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, aligning with project goals.
- Take responsibility for budget management, including forecasting, budget setting, and tracking expenditures.
- Ensure project work aligns with enterprise architecture and organisational strategies.
- Solid knowledge of technical project management methodologies.
- Awareness of enterprise architecture and its adoption within IT projects.
- A team player with a customer-focused approach, able to deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS SharePoint, and other related office software.
