About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Orbis Education and Care. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, including food preparation, storage, and serving
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service
* Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records
* Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement menu plans and catering services

Requirements

* Catering Diploma (City & Guilds/BTEC) or equivalent
* Level 3 Food Hygiene certification
* Significant experience in a similar role, with line management responsibilities
* Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
