New Opportunity for Care Assistants

Orwell Housing Association is recruiting for a Relief Care Assistant to support our customers in maintaining their dignity and independence. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in the lives of our tenants, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. You will work mostly alone in someone's home, but be part of a great care team for the benefit and wellbeing of all the tenants who live at the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and support to customers
  • Administration and storage of medication
  • Housekeeping and light domestic duties
  • Supporting people through temporary or terminal illness
  • Helping with eating and drinking
  • Providing social, physical and mental stimulation


About You

We are looking for a warm, friendly and caring individual with a great sense of humour. You will be a great listener with a supportive attitude and want to make a positive difference to people's lives. If you focus on the individual and not the routine, we want to hear from you.
